A little more:
I have been wicked excited to read Second Chance Summer and I plan on spending most of tomorrow reading it. I loved Morgan Matson's 1st book, Amy & Roger's Epic Detour and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. I had to get it from the library as soon as it was available.
I have Cross My Heart on my kindle, but who wouldn't want that gorgeous cover in a physical book!?
Snowbound With a Stranger is an adult book, but it sounds interesting, mediocre at best, but still... interesting.
As you can see I collect TOO many books to keep up with, so hopefully this will be my last week of this ridiculousness! I need to read!

Booking Through Thursday!

Hosted at Booking Through Thursday, you get one question every Thursday and you answer on your blog (or in the comments)!
I haven't done this in a very very long time, but I decided to this week!

Here's this week's question:
Do you consider yourself an extrovert or an introvert?

This is a bit difficult to answer. Though I tend to stay inside, away from others most of the time and I'm okay with that, I do enjoy being around other people.
But to choose one over the other, definitely introvert I get annoyed and frustrated around too many people. I'm claustrophobic and suffer from anxiety attacks when I'm too overwhelmed. So I end up spending most of my time alone. Though I do love being with a few people at a time.
I can stay in my room all day and be perfectly okay with not having human contact. I get criticized for not wanting to be around people, but it's who I am.
I can be shy at times, but that's not what an introvert is. It's just someone who prefers to be alone.
And that's me.

How about you? Are you and extrovert or an introvert?

Waiting on Wednesday - What Happens Next

YA Contemporary  | Poppy
Expected Publication: October 12th, 2012
How can you talk about something you can’t remember?
Before the ski trip, sixteen-year-old Cassidy “Sid” Murphy was a cheerleader, a straight-A student, and a member of a solid trio of best friends. When she ends up on a ski lift next to handsome local college boy, Dax Windsor, she’s thrilled; but Dax takes everything from Sid—including a lock of her perfect red curls—and she can’t remember any of it.
Back home and alienated by her friends, Sid drops her college prep classes and takes up residence in the A/V room with only Corey “The Living Stoner” Livingston for company. But as she gets to know Corey (slacker, baker, total dreamboat), Sid finds someone who truly makes her happy. Now, if she can just shake the nightmares and those few extra pounds, everything will be perfect... or so she thinks.
Humorous and thoughtful, Colleen Clayton’s stunning debut is a moving exploration of one girl’s triumph over tragedy.

I think it's pretty obvious what's going to happen. At least to me. And I'm okay with that. I need a book to just read I've been in such a slump that nothing sounds good. And the only things that do are books that aren't released yet and not available to me via arc or netgalley. Le sigh.
October seems soo far away!! Arg!!

This is a debut book if you're doing the challenge!
What book are you excited for?

Meet Me On Monday (018)

Meet Me on Monday is hosted by Never Growing Old and it's a meme for bloggers to get to know each other one Monday at a time.

1. I wish that I had more determination to reach my goal weight body!. I have never been as determined as I am now, but I get frustrated because the results aren't happening fast enough, but I know I'm working hard. I just like to talk down to myself apparently.

2. If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
The first time "music" was ever considered as such. I want to hug them and thank them for changing the world. Whoever decided to carry a note. *sigh*. It'd be quite amazing!

3. Do you like to cook?
Love to. But sometimes, I'd just rather not. I'm pretty much the "cook" of the house and there are too many people living here. But I enjoy cooking for myself. (lol)!

4. What do you like to do to get exercise?
I love to do my own things that include strength & resistance. But I love Beachbody programs like Turbo Fire, P90X, Brazil Butt Lift, Insanity...etc. And there a couple YouTube gurus I follow who I absolutely adore. I'm not much of an outdoorsy person & I'm very sedentary, so I need to get as much as possible, somehow.

5. How tidy are you?
Quite. I clean everyday. All the time. My room is fairly organized and probably the "tidiest" of them all.
