Summary: "There are two sides to every breakup. This is Jordan and Courtney, totally in love. Sure, they were an unlikely high school couple. But they clicked; it worked. They're even going to the same college, and driving cross-country together for orientation. Then Jordan dumps Courtney -- for a girl he met on the Internet. It's too late to change plans, so the road trip is on. Courtney's heartbroken, but figures she can tough it out for a few days. La la la -- this is Courtney pretending not to care. But in a strange twist, Jordan cares. A lot. Turns out, he's got a secret or two that he's not telling Courtney. And it has everything to do with why they broke up, why they can't get back together, and how, in spite of it all, this couple is destined for each other."

Review: I just finished this book about 3 hours ago and I have to say it was a nice break from all of the dark and depressing books I've been reading lately! Seriously, new authors....make a happier book.
I have never related so much to characters in books as I did with the ones in Two-way Street. Even the guys in the story. I felt like I've known them all before.
None of the characters annoyed me and I liked that it was from two points of view.  Jordan was actually really a sweet and genuine guy no matter how much he hated keeping such a (excuse me) f*cked up secret. Even though he did break up with Courtney, he obviously still loved her. And with it being in two points of view, you actually got to see that.
I loved that the author went back and forth between POVs and from before the trip and during their trip. It was done originally.
Depsite how sad Courtney was, she seemed to keep me laughing throughout the book and became even funnier towards the end as her insanity got the best of her.
I wish, though, that there was more balance between the views. I felt we got more of Courtney and not enough Jordan. But it wasn't enough to annoy me!
I love a book that gives you all sorts of emotions. And for me this one did.
I've added a few other books from Lauren Barnholdt to my TBR pile!
Read it!
